The Ivana A and Ivana K platforms represent a comprehensive offshore engineering project executed for INAGIP through client Rosetti Marino in the Adriatic Sea. This dual-platform development showcases TECON’s expertise in delivering integrated offshore solutions, combining drilling, production, and compression facilities with interconnected infrastructure.
The project required specialized engineering to create two complementary platforms with different functional requirements while ensuring seamless integration through a connecting bridge structure. The challenge involved coordinating multiple operational systems across platforms while maintaining structural integrity in the demanding marine environment of the Adriatic Sea.
TECON provided comprehensive engineering services spanning conceptual design through detailed engineering for both offshore platforms and their interconnecting infrastructure. The project encompassed structural design, installation planning, and coordination of drilling, production, and compression facilities across the two-platform complex.
TECON’s engineering methodology integrated conceptual and detailed design phases to ensure optimal performance and constructability. The design process incorporated comprehensive structural analysis, environmental loading assessments, and installation sequence planning. Special attention was given to the interface requirements between the two platforms and the design of the connecting bridge to accommodate operational loads and environmental conditions.
Installation studies were performed to evaluate marine construction methodologies, transportation requirements, and offshore installation procedures. The engineering solution balanced functional requirements with fabrication efficiency, resulting in platforms that could be constructed in phases and integrated during offshore installation operations.
