Work description
On March 2015 M/V Alpine Eternity caused large damages to the Jacket SPD 13A. Therefore Company decided to remove the damaged jacket and to design, fabricate and install a new jacket. The existing jacket will be removed leaving in place the bottom fame, including the mudmats. The legs will be cut at an elevation from sea bed such that the cut legs can be used as docking bumpers for positioning the jacket and as temporary supports for the jacket during piling.
The platform, in approximately 57.20 m water depth, is composed by:
- Four Piles: the 60” OD piles are driven through the 4 jacket legs to the target design penetration.
- Jacket (JKT): steel space frame tubular structure composed by 4-legs connected horizontally by 3 main plans;
- Wellhead Module (WHM): installed over the Jacket to allow the drilling operations before the installation of Deck
